Introducing the New “Chief” to our Range – The Numzaan Boot.

We’ve listened to our customers and are thrilled to bring you the Numzaan boot—crafted with the Jim Green touch for top quality, comfort, and formality on every occasion.

Derived from the Zulu word “Numzaan,” meaning the head of a family or a leader, we proudly present the Numzaan boot as the distinguished “Chief” in our collection. Inspired by our Baobab boot, it projects a heritage feel.

The Numzaan boot boasts a double lasted upper (2.2mm lined with 1.2mm calf skin) this is then finished off with a genuine toe cap, making this boot sport over 5mm of leather around the toes. The Heel and toe area is also reinforced with thermoplastic toe puffs for added support. This is paired with an ankle-high lace-up system and bellows tongue. The unique facing pattern allows for less lace pressure for those days when the boots need some added tightening. The ASHM last allows for a “fashion” look while still accommodating a wider foot. The good news doesn’t stop there, we’ve gone the extra mile and incorporated a leather lasting board, leather midsole and a resin runner (a total of over 8mm of leather) that will gradually mold to the shape of your feet. All of this comes together with the innovative Frog Grip sole, marking a new stride forward in the Jim Green range.

The boot is designed with elegance and comfort in mind.
Manufactured with a double layer of leather (2.2mm Nubuck Full Grain leather, lined with 1.6mm calf leather).
Double layer of leather aids in the boot’s water-resistant properties (not waterproof).
A true leather toe cap and built-in leather Kiltie add to the look and durability.
The Toe, Heel, and Eyelet areas are manufactured with a double layer of 2.2mm full grain leather for added durability.
Heel and Toe stiffeners for added durability, support, and protection.
A steel shank between the insole board and sole offers extra support and stability.
A leather lasting board, leather midsole, and a resin runner for added comfort and durability.
Heavy-duty speed hooks and eyelets help secure your feet.
The leather midsole is secured to the upper with a double-stitched 2.2mm braided nylon cord.
As with all our boots, these can be resoled due to their double stitch down construction.
ASHM last – This last is deceptively sleek in appearance with a surprisingly spacious fit. It offers a generous D-width that is roomier than a standard ‘D’, featuring a stylishly tapered toe box.
